IMPORTANT UPDATE (8-10-10)

Last week it was requested that you pray for Bob Higgins health, Carol Higgins stamina. (SEE REQUESTS BELOW)

Within 24 hrs of you praying Bob made a miraculous recovery!  From being almost bedridden he made plans to lead the Otino Waa staff meeting the next day.  A phone conversation this AM revealed he has continued to regain health.

Praise God for his faithfulness and your willingness to intercede!

The difficult situation regarding the paper chase for US visa's for our Ugandan guests has been resolved. The embassy in Kampala rejected both.  We are disappointed, but trust that this is the answer that the Lord intended.

Our fundraising plans will go on during the month of Sept. with us asking for wisdom on how to best proceed.

CURRENT PRAYER REQUESTS (8-10)

REQUESTS FROM UGANDA

The are special needs of healing for Bob Higgins (Director) in Uganda.  Bob has been sick for over three weeks now with fever, extreme night sweats, cough and depleted energy.  Medical attention is limited in northern Uganda.  He is being tested for TB at a local clinic and then will be taken to Kampala to seek further testing and evaluation.  Please pray for healing and resolve.

During this time Carol Higgins has taken on many of Bob's day to day duties, including hosting of two US short term teams.  A grandson is also visiting.  Please pray for extra energy and encouragement as she is very weary.

Plans are now on hold to bring one of the Otino Waa orphans and one of the staff members to the US in Sept..  The paper chase for visas from the US embassy has been delayed by that office until further notice.  Please pray for intervention from the Lord so that fundraising plans can proceed.

  ANSWERS TO PRAYER !!

For PATH partners everywhere who are faithful with sacrifice and support.

PRAY ALWAYS THAT:

We all fulfill the biblical call to a life more characterized by giving than receiving.

Proverbs 3:27,  Mathew 13:16

Specific opportunities will be created specifically for us – and we have wisdom, ability and energy to respond.             Psalm 25:5, Jude 1:20

We can assist each other to be agents and owners of the call and causes of the Lord.

Hebrews 13:6,   Romans 1:8

We can all secure a life that mirrors and belongs to God.

James 1:23,  Psalm 103:5

We are all accountable to each other to hold New Testament standards, not just quiet, Christian

"consumers" - but active and vocal "doers".

Proverbs 22:17Psalm 40:4

WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR YOUR PARTNERSHIP AND YOUR PASSION FOR

THE PEOPLE AND PROJECTS IN UGANDA!
