PATH MINISTRIES AS A NON-PROFIT

PATH Ministries is a public charity as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions to the Organization are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Our policy is to apply all gifts given toward a specific program. Occasionally, we receive more contributions than can be wisely used toward a specific project. When that happens, we use these funds to meet other pressing needs within the various projects of PATH Ministries.

  • Donor Privacy Policy

    We value our donors, volunteers and supporters and take their privacy seriously. We will respect the privacy of information that we are privileged to have. Our commitment to respect the privacy of our supporters extends to how we obtain, use, and protect the information about them.  All donor information is kept in strict confidentiality and is not shared in any form.

  • ·    We do not sell supporter information.
    ·    Without the supporter's consent, we do not provide their information to organizations or individuals outside of PATH Ministries.
    ·    We will hold strictly confidential all information concerning donors and prospects, including names, addresses, names of beneficiaries, amounts of provisions or gifts, etc., unless a donor or prospect grants permission to use information for purposes of referral, testimonial, example, recognition, or publicity.
    ·    We will comply with the expressed wishes of any supporter who does not want their name used in any promotional material, wishes their name removed from solicitation lists, or wishes to have their gifts or services be anonymous.
    ·    We will continually inform supporters of the organization's mission, the way the organization intends to use donated resources, and of its capacity to use donations effectively for their intended purposes.
    ·    We will invite donors and supporters to ask questions when making a donation and give prompt, truthful and forthright answers.

PATH Ministries is registered with GuideStar . Donors can research charitable giving and donate on-line through the GuideStar Web site.

Promise of Applying Your Donation

PATH Ministries promises to get as much of your donation to it's appropriate destination as possible. Economics in both the USA and Uganda create interesting challenges, but we will always honor your intentions and apply your donation as you have requested unless funding for that project is complete.  Funds may then be used for a similar project or in a manner that PATH deems appropriate.

PATH Ministries does not discriminate against a person based on race, creed, religion, sexual preference, political affiliation, handicap or disability.  Any one engaging in such activity is acting beyond the scope of any authority they have from PATH Ministries.
