Ilera Community Church
THE RURAL CHURCH IN UGANDA
In 2003, the original 79 orphans needed a place to worship and learn. What started as a church for the orphanage, under a mango tree, has now blossomed into a weekly community gathering. The curiosity and hunger for God's Word has brought in the surrounding villagers as well as the population of Otino Waa Children's Village.

Property was purchased across the road from the orphanage and the congregation has grown. Sunday brings 650-700 worshipers.
Over 200 kids pack the room used for Children's Church.
